The location was fine and the free coffee in the lobby (freshly ground beans) was good too! But this is a NO‑SMOKING hotel and guests still smoked. When we arrived we were turned away from a room because of the smell. I’m an ex‑smoker, so I know exactly when it’s being smoked or not. The second room had a faint smoke scent, so we accepted it, partly because it was a weekend with a public holiday and there were few other options elsewhere. Throughout the stay the smell kept coming back—in the hallway, in the elevator, even in our bathroom (through the ventilation??). In short, they need to enforce the no‑smoking rule better!!!
