The building was clean, welcoming, and comfortable, with beautiful common areas. Nabil was friendly, helpful, cheerful, and always smiling.
We really enjoyed our time at Balance Surf House in Awrir, so much so that we extended our stay twice. The rooms were clean and inviting, and the kitchen, available to all guests, was also tidy and well equipped. The Moroccan breakfast, not included but prepared with a lot of love, was excellent. The host was very friendly and always created a great atmosphere. Surf lessons were an option, and Nabil was an excellent teacher, making it a lot of fun. I can fully recommend this hostel.

This place is an absolute gem, with a chilled, laid‑back vibe. The roof terrace is fantastic, Wi‑Fi is great, and it’s a 5‑minute walk to the beach. Rooms are clean and basic, with hot showers. The host Nibill is a real gentleman; nothing is too much of a problem for him, and he even put my dirty clothes in the washing machine for me. He’s a cool guy. Mattia helps him out, she surfs and teaches yoga, and she’s a lovely person too. I stayed two nights and didn’t want to leave tomorrow. 😭 Road traffic nearby caused some late‑night motorcycle noise.

Nabil is lovely, the place is spotless, and it offers great value for budget travelers. The immediate surroundings are right next to a large roundabout, so it’s very noisy both in the rooms and on the rooftop. You can’t have breakfast before 9:30/10 am.

The accommodation was superb and we had a fantastic time! Great surf sessions, amazing food, and a really good vibe. Nabil is an awesome host. This won’t be our last visit 😊
