The place was beautiful and the atmosphere even better; the staff were helpful and understanding. I had a small issue with the first dinner, which was resolved professionally, and at checkout the bills were reviewed and overcharges were found and fixed immediately, with a sincere apology. They also added an extra bed at no extra cost.

When I stepped into the hotel, I immediately felt it was a hidden treasure, especially considering the rates. The rooms were cozy and offered lovely views across the lawn, and the bar, billiard room, and restaurant were all fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful and delightful. The only drawback was the walk back from the town center, which felt a bit unappealing.

A nice colonial hotel with a good and spacious restaurant and beautiful, roomy rooms. The only issue was the very steep stairs to the attic rooms and the lack of a night‑time “little light” on the stairs, so be careful with small children.

The hotel was super beautiful, old but tidy and charming, with an old English style. The people were super friendly. Nothing negative.

The service was very friendly. The rooms were very clean and nicely furnished. The location was very beautiful. The best part was the breakfast – everything you could imagine was there. I had never seen such a buffet in Germany and it was amazing. I have stayed in many great hotels worldwide, but this was truly incredible. It is a bit expensive, but worth the money. Give it a try. Thanks again for the great service and food.
