Resort Veldhoven

“We would not choose to stay at Resort Veldhoven again.”

The location was perfect for the activities we had in mind, but we arrived in the middle of a heatwave to find the heating on and the cabin/lodge at 38 degrees; there was no way to keep the doors open, which could be dangerous—they need door stops fitted. The lounge furniture was not suitable for families with young children, the kids were given a welcome timetable to a kids club that was no longer available. The restaurant was closed, there wasn’t a shop for essential groceries, vending facilities were very limited, and the welcome pack could have included a few coffee pods for the machine, especially since there wasn’t a shop.

The place was quiet, spotless, and the people around and the staff were friendly. Nothing was wrong; everything was great.

The new chalet was nice, but there was no air conditioning, which would have been helpful with the heat.

The caravan was tidy and the swimming spot was nice, but the caravan got very warm and the park had no facilities—no restaurant, no terrace, no snack bar.

“Vuurwerkvrij op het resort en fijne omgeving met honden”

The chalet was brand new and perfectly set up for four people, which was a huge plus. However, it would've been super convenient to have more exit points on the resort for walking our dogs in the surrounding area. Still, it was an amazing stay overall.
