The place was clean and roomy. The kettle required a bit of getting used to.

The view is amazing. The room was good. After staying in a different room 3 years ago I can see some of the fixtures are looking tired. The security doesn't feel as safe with the main gate not being able to shut off a walkway as the gate has swelled. The front door which had a code to get in, was open everytime we went in so anyone can go in the building and get to your bedroom door. The plug was missing from the roll top bath which was being looked forward to being used. The bed linen smelt damp which made my sons stay not very enjoyable. I made the company aware of this and was asked if I had got in touch with the local person that deals with the apartments which we didnt as were only staying 2 nights. Just thought I wouldn't make a fuss. You just expect fresh linen paying £310 for 2 nights and not have to ask for it to be changed

The location right in the centre of brixham and view of the harbour from the room is phenomenal. I stayed here last year for the vista and convenient location and came back this year to share the experience with my partner. The apartment is spacious room and beautifully designed and decorated. Little things about the amenities and facilities compounded by the keyless nature of the hotel (no staff on site) meant it did not live up to the luxury advertised. For example there was a coffee machine in the room with no pods available to use it either in the room or shared utility. The instant coffee and tea provided was not enough for two people for 4 nights and the cups available to use was the hot water machine were too small for it. We ran out of toilet roll as there was not enough provided for our length of stay and nowhere to replenish supplies. Finally having to wash your own cups in a downstairs shared utility and empty the bin there reminded me of living in student accommodation not a luxury holiday apartment

The rooms were spotless and the bathroom and shower were lovely, and from the bed in the Pilgrim Suite you could see the harbour. It’s close to the harbour, shops and great restaurants, just a few steps or a short uphill walk away. The downside was the 13 steep steps up an alley to reach the suites, so I had to park on double yellow lines to unload my bags and to leave, because there’s no legal parking nearby. The wardrobe door was coming off its hinges, which I reported and hopefully it’s fixed now – not a deal‑breaker. The Wi‑Fi in our room was pretty unreliable.
