The spot was convenient and they offered tea, coffee, and biscuits, but the room felt cramped and the bed was wedged against the wall, so I had to climb over it to exit. The en‑suite shower area was tiny, and the price of £80 a night seemed steep for what was provided; it would be fairer at £60 a night.

The food was solid and the staff welcomed us warmly, with no complaints at all.

I have stayed here before in a different room. Liked it then liked it again. Next chance I get I will be back. Great staff, good beer.🍺 Cheers!. Quite far from the train. Not their fault. No window in bathroom. Nit picking. I enjoyed my stay

Staff friendly. Great pub with delicious meals. Bottles of water provided along with porridge pots for breakfast. No toiletries provided. Rooms are a bit small

Great location. Train line outside window very noisy when we had to have window open. No bedside table or light so unable to read in bed. A couple of areas not clean enough, bottom of wardrobe dusty and underside of tap had other people's toothpaste residue on
