The hostel sits on the 3rd floor near the metro; the room, bathroom, and showers were clean, and the front‑desk lady was friendly and spoke good English. The room was extremely cold and the air‑conditioning was inadequate; the stairs to the bed were shaky and unstable, and I couldn’t use the laundry service because I don’t have a Chinese phone number.

Getting to the hostel by subway was super easy and it’s close to the tourist spots you’d want to see; the place was very clean and quiet. Too many rules made staying there difficult—being on vacation far from family and not being able to talk on the phone in my room after a certain time didn’t work for me. The room was smaller than the pictures showed, and the hostel sits above a hotel on the 3rd floor, so at times it could take 20 minutes to wait for the elevator to reach the hostel.

The place sits close to the metro and plenty of eateries, and the private room, though small, was cozy. The vibe was calm but not much happened socially, and it was a bit busy.
