The architecture and grounds are gorgeous, especially with the sunset views. It was very quiet and there were no children, which made it perfect for unwinding. The location isn’t bad; you can walk down to Old Town in 20 minutes, but I’d suggest an Uber back for about €10 because of the steps and the hill. My room was clean and comfortable, though it was a last‑minute booking so I had limited options. The pool area looks great overlooking the sea, and the jacuzzi is a nice addition. The staff were friendly and polite. The only downside for a 5* hotel is the breakfast – it wasn’t impressive, the juices could be fresher, and a hot buffet would be nice. Eggs are available and cooked fresh on request. The restaurant’s menu is tiny, and the gym needs better antibacterial spray and wipes.

The hotel sits in a quiet spot with a beautifully maintained garden and lovely rooms, right a little above the old town. Getting there is quick, either by many stairs or by bus. The reception was fully staffed and we were greeted warmly; on my birthday they even gave me a bottle of Prosecco, which was very thoughtful. The only thing that could improve is a shuttle to the old town.

The style and cleanliness of the hotel were incredible, and the staff were fantastic. It was the perfect spot for our anniversary weekend. The only drawback was the lunch/snack menu, which could have offered more options.
