A large hotel on the Theth‑Valbona trail right at the entrance of Valbona. Breakfast was a bit sparse and the staff’s attention could be better.

Conveniently situated at the end of the Valbonë pass. New building with comfy beds and clean rooms. The staff were all friendly, helpful and accommodated a last‑minute change request. The building is still under construction and the rooms lack fridges or a TV, which might explain the low price. The restaurant probably had the worst food I’ve had in Albania and was the most expensive as well – definitely eat elsewhere. Breakfast wasn’t great either but it was free and buffet‑style, so still appreciated.

The location and the hotel’s exterior. The room isn’t fully finished (pipes and cables visible). The Euro‑to‑Lek conversion rate isn’t good (+10 %).
