I couldn’t check in because the hotel wouldn’t accept my sister’s original ID and birth certificate, even though we had the online GOV documents; they claimed it was a rule that doesn’t exist in their policy or on the official site, didn’t refund me, didn’t let me tear up the signed check‑in form, and wouldn’t cancel the booking to return the money; the receptionist was completely unprepared, rude, and refused to let me speak with a supervisor or manager, leaving my elderly mother, 13‑year‑old nephew, and sister without accommodation or any solution.

During check‑in, I wasn’t told how the elevator worked and got stuck for a few minutes until someone came to use it; the room had no fridge‑bar prices or reception number, the air‑conditioner wasn’t working so I had to go down to the front desk to report it; the worst part was that I was sure the reservation included breakfast, but nothing was mentioned at check‑in; when I left, I was charged for three breakfasts I hadn’t paid for; the hotel’s lack of information was frustrating, especially since the reservation didn’t say it was without breakfast, and I couldn’t afford the extra expense.
