“Hotel in campagna”
The location is beautiful and surrounded by greenery, quiet and peaceful. The staff are always friendly. If you’re sensitive to mice, steer clear! We spotted a noticeable one on the trees and by the pool, both at night and during breakfast. The price is excessive for the property and the breakfast.

Zen Retreat is an absolutely stunning hotel, probably the most beautiful spot we stayed at during our month-long trip in Vietnam. It’s a true sanctuary in a lush garden. The tranquility offers deep relaxation, contrasting with the bustle of Hoi An days. The rooms open onto the garden, a very pleasant pool, and a river dotted with water lilies, creating a serene and harmonious atmosphere. The services match the beauty of the site, and the friendliness of the receptionists makes the experience even warmer. The welcome was caring, professional, and sincerely kind. I especially want to thank Nguyen Phuong Thoi, who helped me find an unusual souvenir, far beyond what one expects from a reception service. We stayed in two rooms, both clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a special mention for the Héritage room, which offers direct garden access. Breakfast is delicious, and the restaurant open all day lets you enjoy drinks and meals in different corners of the garden, each with a unique vibe. We recommend this place with closed eyes and will return with great pleasure.

The place is perfect for unwinding, a bit out of town but not too far. The property is built around a lagoon, featuring a fitness area, spa, and library all on stilts. The pool temperature is ideal. The room is basic yet fully equipped, with a large, comfortable bed. Breakfast is plentiful with good options. It’s a true oasis of peace. Free bikes are available. The kitchen is excellent.
“Le meilleur hôtel de notre séjour d’un mois au Vietnam”
The pool, breakfast, huge bed and the peaceful setting were all wonderful, and the staff – the two front‑desk people – were unbelievably friendly, always smiling and present throughout our stay; we thought that adding €15 per night would give us a service ten times better, and the free shuttle saved us a lot on morning and evening trips. Breakfast was very extensive and tasty, though the room could use a little refresh in its décor, that’s all
