The vibe was relaxed, the restaurant next door was clean and offered good value, but I liked a lot.

Staff was friendly and location was good for what I was looking for. I did not feel safe at all as a solo female traveler in this hostel. The dorm has no door and the front door of the building locks/unlocks from the inside, so if a guest unlocks the front door to go out, door is left unlocked and anyone could come in. Reception is not 24/7 and therefore at times there’s no one to guarantee the security of the guests. There is no storage/safe to keep your valuables safe either. There were only 3 guests in the hostel during my stay, including myself. The other two guests were an older couple (in their late 40s maybe?). They were drinking in the living room and being really loud. I did not feel comfortable in the room. Since staff was not present at all times, during some parts of the night it was just me and the couple in the hostel. They didn’t do anything to me but they could’ve if they wanted to since there was no one else in the property. Also, the hostel is not clean. There was hair on the bedsheets and the bathrooms/showers smelled really bad. The sink looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. The reception and kitchen are nice, but the bedroom and bathrooms need to be remodeled and properly cleaned. I would not recommend this hostel for female solo travelers

The environment was clean, staff were helpful, rooms were quiet, and the sign was eye‑catching; but if you don’t have a car or motorcycle, getting here would be inconvenient.

It’s a great spot with super friendly staff, comfy beds, nice facilities, and a new hostel that turned out well—quiet for work, a full kitchen, and nearby restaurants. The Wi‑Fi was excellent for working, though it felt a bit out of the way from the beach; on a motorcycle it’s about 10 minutes, and walking takes 30–40 minutes.

I was the first guest at the newly opened hotel, and the manager’s friendliness was on par with Thailand’s hospitality. Breakfast hasn’t started yet, but there’s a small restaurant on site serving excellent Thai food.
