The room was very comfortable, but the stairs were a hassle, especially when carrying luggage.

Angelica, the host, is truly delightful, super kind and helpful; the place feels welcoming and the location is great for both staying in the area and driving, close to Polignano and Monopoli. The balcony comes with a drying rack for swimsuits or other items, and the kitchenette is very convenient with a powerful fridge. Parking under the building is hard to find, but fortunately there are paid parking strips nearby. The TV doesn’t show all channels and isn’t smart, but that’s not a big deal.

It’s close to shops, the market, the center, and the sea. The flat is on the ground floor with comfortable beds. The equipment is sparse—there are few plates, no sensor, no glasses. For four people it’s quite cramped: one bed is in the kitchen and two are in the same room. A few nights are fine, but staying longer would be difficult. The layout is unusual: you enter through a reception that looks like a converted kitchen, which is open daily for staff. Through the door and window above, you can hear almost everything; one day before we woke up, someone was moving around the reception and woke us with their presence.

The host was there at the reception and even came to pick us up at the train station despite our lateness, and the air conditioning was good. The Wi‑Fi connection was bad.
