A genuine oasis on the Primitivo route.
“Une belle surprise sur le Camino”
This hotel on the Camino Primitivo, between Lugo and Melide, is a gem. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bedding is extremely comfortable. It sits in the village of Burgo de Negral amid countryside, offering a very appreciated silence. The hotel has a terrace and a pool, a real plus for pilgrims. There’s also a small restaurant where breakfast is simple but sufficient, and where you can also have lunch and dinner. The owner and his wife are friendly and caring about the guests’ well‑being. We highly recommend this hotel, worthy of 5 stars. Nothing was wrong; everything was perfect.

The stay was pretty good; the room was better than expected and the bed very comfortable. The downside was the thin walls that let you hear everything in the hallways—voices and doors clanging from 8 am made it hard to rest.

I was on the Camino route and stopped for a nice restaurant, but the place was infested with flies and had no nets. The check‑in took 20 minutes because the staff were busy serving in the restaurant, which was exhausting after a long day of hiking. Our room had a broken lamp, the window wouldn’t open because the money was locked, and there was no AC.
