I liked that the buffet let me pick whatever I wanted and eat as much as I liked, and the food tasted great. The whole place felt dated and the rooms were cramped, and I could hear loud noises coming from the neighboring room.
The staff were friendly and helpful.

Most of the staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. The room above us was constantly thumping and noisy to the point I couldn’t tolerate it; after I called the front desk, they said they had checked from outside and thought it was fine, so they left without saying anything, and the thumping never stopped. When I called a second time they finally sent someone to speak with the guests, which I wish they had done from the start because running noises are hard to judge from the hallway. Also, why is the checkout time different from the billing time? I would have preferred to settle the bill at checkout.

The price was high because it was the Obon holiday, and it wasn’t worth the extra cost.
