“Very cozy room, kind hosts and delicious and nutritious breakfast.”

The room felt cozy with plenty of blankets, ideal for the cold nights. Mama Viví and her husband kindly prepared breakfast for us early because we had a tour, packing it for us and it was delicious with generous portions. They shared the table, told us a bit of their love story, and were very kind. It would have been better if the bathroom were in the room so I wouldn’t have to step out into the cold at night, but that wasn’t a huge issue.

“Incroyable expérience!”

We loved everything! It was more than just accommodation—it was a human experience. Practical aspects: very charming, clean, well‑located, and Mama Viví’s kitchen was delicious. Human side: Juan and Vivi are incredibly generous, give great advice, and are caring. We felt like family (for real!). Our 3‑ and 7‑year‑old kids didn’t want to leave and still talk about it. Unforgettable experience, thank you thank you thank you!!!

The family was very welcoming: Erik showed us the surroundings and thermal baths, and arranged a tour to Cruz del Condor. Juan and Mama Vivi took great care of us, meals were very good (breakfast and dinner), the room was clean, and the shared bathroom also had hot water. The environment was very quiet in the small village of Coporaque, 15 minutes by collectivo from Chivay.

I met Eric, the host, who immediately took us on a half‑hour walk through a magical nature trail to the hot springs—an actual nature paradise. He was an exemplary host, lighting a bonfire that evening and taking care of every need. Mom and Yoyy cooked tasty meals for us.
