“Love the owner to take care. Breakfast ok but i wish get sri lanka menu.”
The toilet was spacious and clean, but the place felt very dim everywhere, and it was a bit hot because there was no air conditioning.
A truly good homestay: it’s clean, the hosts are helpful and friendly, and they’ll arrange city rides at great prices if you need one. I highly recommend it.

Everything was perfect: the quiet location, just a 5‑minute tuk‑tuk ride from the city’s hustle, rooms overlooking the forest and the monkeys, and a lovely, attentive family who gave great tips and could even drive us around in a tuk‑tuk when they were free. Tarushka, the eldest son, was especially helpful and full of information. The only thing missing was a mini‑fridge in the room and perhaps air‑conditioning (though we didn’t need it), and the chalet didn’t match the description—we got two adjacent rooms on a terrace with a stunning view, no living room, no internal connection between the rooms (which would be an issue with small children), just the two rooms sharing the terrace.
