Everything about the place was wonderful: the bed was comfortable, the staff friendly, the room immaculate, and the grounds were accessible 24/7. If you stay, get up just before sunrise and walk around the lake—you won’t regret it. We’d love to see an a‑la‑carte restaurant come to the castle in the future, but if you can, book a night at Eden—the tasting menu was an incredible experience. In the end we had to leave, which wasn’t great, but we’ll have to come back, I suppose.
