“Un petit eden en pleine nature”
The owners welcomed us warmly and upgraded us to a larger cabin because the originally booked one had a problem. The place is very relaxing in nature, with a sizeable indoor pool heated to 28 °C, which is a real plus. The hearty breakfast, varied and made with homemade items by Marie‑Ange, was a real treat. The owners, very charming and engaging, showed us many birds—from an impressive pheasant collection to peacocks, bustards, and black swans—making the site lively for both kids and adults. The Creole restaurant “Le Joyau de la Seine” in the nearby village of Fouchères offers typical dishes and French cuisine; the staff there are very friendly. Nothing negative; just note that the location is fairly isolated if you’re looking for nightlife, but that wasn’t our concern.
