The place is right next to the airport, which is handy, but I felt a bit confused when I arrived – it’s actually a woman’s home with just one room for rent, not a hotel, and you can’t walk to the airport from there. The whole setup felt pretty informal.

Checking in was a breeze, but the distance from the airport makes it a pain to lug your bags on foot.

The kitchen tools weren’t exactly spotless and the entrance looked a little neglected.

The spot is great – right by the parking lot, so coming and going is simple, and the water dispenser is a nice touch. Unfortunately the cleaning left a lot to be desired: the bathroom was filthy with leftover waste and hair, the hot water cut out after a few minutes, and we even found a half‑used, already‑used toilet‑paper roll.

The host is incredibly friendly, but you should know you’ll have to navigate a narrow dirt road to reach the property.
