Because it’s remote, the kitchen needs improvement; more variety or even just more veg options would help.

The location and view are solid if you prefer staying indoors, but there were insects, power glitches, bad sheets, and it could have been cleaner.

It’s literally heavenly—view, upkeep, vibe all made my solo trip feel anything but solo. Rohan, the host, is rare; his hospitality, energy, and aura are amazing. He even dropped me off at the bus stop and sent me on my way—what a kind person!

The place is just pricey. The host, or whoever that was, was extremely rude. My family and I had just come from Mumbai to Banikhet after almost two days on a train, and I asked if we could check in later after freshening up; she insisted on paperwork first and lectured me like a principal. The carrom table was rough, paint was dry, no proper facilities or cleanliness, blankets were dirty, and the rooms don’t match the photos—definitely not worth it.
