The bed broke and we were moved to another room where the air conditioner wasn’t working; there was no elevator, so we climbed three flights of stairs. The Wi‑Fi was dead, so I couldn’t use my iPad. The hallway carpet was 40 years old and clearly worn. I could keep writing, but you get the idea.

The location was good, it was dog‑friendly, and the price seemed reasonable. However, there was no ice on site because the ice machine was broken, and one staff member appeared far too busy for the time of day. The back door, about 10 feet from our room, stayed unlocked all night and a lot of smoking was happening right by it.

The mattress was so broken that we were inches off the floor; if you’re over 5'4" you should avoid showering there. Creamer sat on the counter in a bowl of melting ice, along with a small carton of half & half, whipped cream, and cold foam. Cleaning staff need to slow down and check windows, the microwave, and wipe down the dresser. The ice machine leaked, leaving a puddle in the corner (water damage). Mats were damaged and posed a tripping hazard. I felt the need to shower again after leaving the facilities.

It was so dirty, it smelled awful. They allow smoking inside, and the whole place just smelled dirty.
