I loved the peaceful countryside vibe, but the kitchen gear was a mess and the cleaning supplies were almost non‑existent – not even a full vacuum was available, which was a huge let‑down. On top of that, a lot of things were broken: cabinets, the laundry door, and more.

The setting in the Swedish countryside was like a fairy tale, with beautiful surroundings. The old building was renovated with great taste and a keen eye for detail, and the owner was kind and attentive.

The location was very idyllic and quiet, and the apartment was spacious, bright, and well equipped. With a bit of luck, you might catch deer visiting the garden at dawn. The host was reachable and very friendly, though some furniture showed heavy wear – missing cabinet doors, broken hooks in the bathroom, candle scorch marks, etc. Still, we’d come back.

Everything was fresh and there was nothing to complain about – highly recommended. One idea would be to add a Chromecast so you can use the TV easily.
