We liked the location, just a few steps from Terrasini’s center, but the balcony view looked out onto a large machine shop courtyard. The room was clean, the bed comfy and the AC worked. The only downside was breakfast – only a few coffee pods and no sweets or anything else, so we chose to eat at a Terrasini bar where the lady was very kind. The lack of breakfast was the sole issue.
I was mortified when I couldn't find the place—no sign, the gate was shut at arrival, there was no bell or intercom, and nobody answered the phone. I even sent an urgent email, and no one has replied yet. I had told them my arrival time, yet I ended up without a room at 22:30 with my two kids.
“Per fortuna siamo stati solo una notte.”
The staff were friendly and helpful, and they were available at check‑out time. The first thing I noticed when I entered was a clean, disinfected scent that made me think the room would be spotless, but that was not the case. The bathroom was full of hair, the toilet was filthy, and the sheets looked as if someone had walked in wearing shoes. The floor was dirty, the trash bin was still full, and a roll of toilet paper was left on the windowsill—no shower gel, so it seemed no one had cleaned at all. For €80, without even breakfast included, I expected at least basic cleanliness. The same problems appeared in my sister’s room next door. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work.
The description says check‑in/check‑out 00:00‑00:00. We arrived at Palermo airport at 1:00 a.m. and were denied check‑in.
“wrong descrition on the booking profile. misleading. not cooperative.”
I booked this spot because it promised an airport transfer, a must for my early flight, and I even confirmed the service beforehand before making the reservation. The day before I arrived, I was told the transfer was no longer available, leaving me scrambling to find another place with a guaranteed transfer at the last minute. The property failed to deliver a key service that I relied on, showed no responsibility, and caused needless stress. I had to pay for another arrangement and for this unreliable host, who also refused to refund the cancellation. I can't recommend them.
