A beautiful property on the quiet side of Puerto Escondido, within walking distance of the three best swimming beaches on the island. The apartment felt like a little oasis, though it wasn’t excellent value for money. PS: you get ultra‑cute kitties and ocean views from the top deck. The apartment I stayed in had no AC, but that wasn’t a problem because the nights were cold enough.

A beautiful accommodation near the most beautiful beach in Puerto Escondido. Perfect if you don’t want to be in the middle of tourist activity.

The house has a peaceful atmosphere. The sea view from the terrace is stunning, and it’s very close to beaches and amenities. The noise from neighborhood parties on Saturday nights forced us to leave the premises and sleep elsewhere in the middle of the night to escape the noise, which felt like a music concert.

The building looked gorgeous, clearly crafted with pride and care, and the owner was quick to reply even while she was away. The room was roomy, but I found an ant on the bed as soon as I entered and another crawling on me during the night, with many more ants and bugs roaming around. It was so uncomfortable that I called off the remaining four nights, and the owner only refunded two of those unused nights, which was disappointing. As a solo woman traveling, walking at night is risky, especially since the area is dark and not as lively as La Punta.

The garden and the room were clearly built with a lot of love and creativity, making us feel right at home. We also made good use of the handy booklet that offered tips on food, laundry, renting motos, surfboards, and more. Thanks!
