The view from this place is stunning, but it's hard to shake off the feeling that it's still a love hotel from back in the day. The decor and overall atmosphere still give off that vibe, which might be a bit off-putting for some.

I was pleasantly surprised by how many perks this former love hotel had to offer. The bathroom was spacious and easy to navigate with a wheelchair, which was a big plus for us. The bed was also huge and super comfortable, and the massage chair in the room was a nice touch. If I'm being nitpicky, it would be great if they had a vending machine for snacks and drinks near the front desk, or even just a small convenience store.

One nice touch was the kid-friendly service, which included a treat for my little one. However, the entrance to the building was pretty dark and could use some more lighting.

I stayed at a love hotel that had been renovated, but the bedding was absolutely terrible. It was like they just slapped some new furniture on the walls and called it a day.

This hotel's location outside of central Nagasaki is a trade-off for the stunning views from the top floor, where we enjoyed watching the sunrise over the sea from our balcony. The rooms are massive, with a massage chair and a fantastic garden tub, and the added bonus of a sauna in our room was a first for me. However, the property could use a more thorough cleaning to get rid of the slightly worn feel. It's like staying at a relative's house, but in a good way.
