“Lovely place in the middle of rugged mountains”

We trekked over the pass from Tachddirt and the view was a real treat, so the spot was spot on. The place itself was simple but solid for the area, and the food was genuinely tasty. The owner greeted us warmly and was very helpful. The bedrooms and living room were comfy and offered great views. The washroom and toilet were just okay for our four, and we’re not sure if it would hold up with a larger group—maybe there were other facilities on the property that we didn’t notice.

We stayed with a group of 14 at Timichi and had a lovely time. The accommodation is plain, yet authentic and fits the vibe of the Atlas Mountains perfectly. What really stood out was the friendly local service – we were welcomed and supported in a very helpful way at all times. Everything ran smoothly even with our group. We had vegetarians and vegans among us. For vegan meals, you sometimes have to explain and list what you don’t eat 😄 – but they always listened closely and made a real effort to meet our needs. Thanks for the hospitality and the great experience!
