The spot is fantastic, a short stroll to the Bund and the main shopping district. Breakfast was excellent, the bed was very clean and comfortable, and the street is quiet.

The spot was great and the Landry staff were clean and helpful, but the breakfast was awful—no variety, all packaged food, even the eggs that were labeled “fresh” were cold, so I didn’t enjoy it at all.

A quick five‑minute walk to the Bund made it easy to unwind after a night out, and the hotel breakfast offered plenty of choices, from well‑made local Shanghai dishes to Western options and coffee, plus bottled water, free day‑time luggage storage, and delivery service; the cleaning ladies, buffet servers, and front desk were all wonderfully friendly and helpful, making for a great stay right next to the Bund, within walking distance of Nanjing Road and the metro.

The location was fine and the staff were friendly, but I booked a twin room for four people and only received one room that could fit three.
