No breakfast was provided, but the location was perfect for my needs. Two of the four mornings, the milk sachets weren’t fresh. The TV could have been larger, and the liquid handwash was empty.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was good. Wi‑Fi was excellent, the kettle was large, and breakfast biscuits were supplied. The room temperature could be adjusted easily with heating or a ceiling fan. Rooms looked nice, and a microwave was available. Water, knives, forks, spoons, and condiments were placed on the landing for take‑away deliveries, which was convenient. Staying at the hotel gave a 10 % discount on food and drinks at the pub, and the tapas were excellent while the other dishes looked appealing. The pub food surpassed typical pub fare, so if you’re not inclined to dine out, you won’t be disappointed eating at The Crafy Cow. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality. The only downside was the lack of tea spoons; only wooden stick stirers were offered, so I had to grab a large spoon from the landing near the microwave. The bathroom was a bit small for larger people, but we were fine; a bigger person might find it cramped. The sink was very small, even though there was room for a larger one, and I hit my head on the shelf when bending to rinse my face. The round taps weren’t very clean; a toothbrush was needed to scrub around the neck of the taps. Otherwise, cleanliness was fine everywhere else.

Everything was fine except the shower head kept slipping down the rail. Otherwise, no complaints. The food was very good.

Convenient for me, clean, and basically okay. They don’t offer proper breakfasts. I was woken at 2.30 am by a loud alarm, and afterward someone said it was a false alarm, so clearly there are issues to address.

The pub was nice and the food was reasonable, seemed well run and busy. However, the walls had dirty handmarks. The beds were very low, like camp beds. The sink was small, and the toilet was a walk across a landing, which isn’t easy in the dark.
