The place is fantastic, the chill‑out area is great, and the staff are super friendly. The room and kitchen could use a bit more cleaning, though.

Staying at Soffta Surf Ranch was incredible. As a solo traveler, I always want a home‑like feel, and that’s exactly what I found here. The hostel staff are more like friends and family, joining in for evenings of games, cooking, laughs, and chats. Even the owner greets everyone warmly, sits down for meals, and talks with guests, creating an inviting atmosphere. The pets are adorable, never bother your stuff, and just add extra warmth. The hostel itself is clean and well maintained, everything is in perfect order, and the location is unbeatable. I have no complaints; I felt completely at home, surrounded by kindness and comfort, and I’ll definitely return to Siargao and stay here again. Thanks to everyone for making the island feel like home <3

The location is great, the staff are very nice, the room is spacious, and the facilities are clean. The air conditioning isn’t very powerful.

It felt like a truly community‑driven hostel where everyone socialised and vibed. The spot was perfect for going out and eating/drinking on General Luna. The only downsides were typical island issues like occasional power cuts or no water, but that’s beyond Soffta’s control and didn’t affect our stay.
