“Nice hotel, bed location.”
The hotel itself was very nice. The location, however, is not ideal because the next building is under construction and a hospital is just across the street, which doesn’t give off positive vibes.

We spent four days in Porto: the hotel’s spot was close to the historic centre, letting us explore the city on foot and enjoy its charms. It’s a small, human‑sized place set in a beautiful old building. The rooms were very pleasant, air‑conditioned and well equipped. The bedding was comfortable and the sound insulation was effective, so we quickly forgot that the building faced a busy street. The hotel has a very green, calm, shaded garden, perfect for a midday lunch or an afternoon break. The staff were truly charming and efficient, speaking French and English, with a warm welcome and attentive service. Breakfast was very good: quality products, hot items prepared on the spot, fresh fruit and juices, all in a cosy room. Overall, a great spot to stay in Porto. The only suggestion is to offer breakfast in the garden; otherwise everything was fine.

The property and its carefully curated furnishings were set in an old building, providing a comfortable, pleasant, and relaxing experience. It wasn’t a priority for me, but I think they should rethink the breakfast: it seemed too fancy and lacked a traditional, inexpensive alternative.

The location was great, and the fado performance was excellent. The problem was that we chose a room for multiple beds, but there was only one, and bringing in a rollaway was an issue.

The breakfast selection and ordering options were impressive, especially the ocean‑morning drink. The room was very spacious, elegantly designed, and the backroom (estrella) was quiet with no street noise. The garden was lovely, and the fado concerts took place in the historic music room inside the hotel.
