It was a nice place and the host was responsive; the room was clean, spacious, and the common area was good for a quick coffee, etc. The neighborhood is poorly lit at night, so arriving late can feel insecure.

The location was convenient, with metro stations and Termini station close by. The room was well set up and the shared kitchen was very handy, offering a coffee machine and kettle, and two coffee pods were supplied daily. However, there was a faint smell from the sewage in the bathroom, and the neighbour’s use of a hair dryer late at night was a noticeable nuisance.

The room was housed in an old building, tastefully decorated and spacious. Angela greeted us warmly, handed over the key, and when the washing machine failed she quickly took the laundry in and brought it back clean. We also liked the communal kitchen. Like in a shared flat, we met friendly international guests. The room was cleaned daily and stayed very tidy. Arriving by train, the proximity to Termini station and the many bus and metro connections meant we could reach the centre quickly. Street noise was minimal. The neighbourhood offered nice restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and many embassies.

I was happy with the central spot—every major tourist site was a short walk away, and the restaurants nearby were great. The bathroom drains could use a serious cleaning; the odor from them was noticeably strong at times.
