The Gallery Motel, in Murwillumbah's Tweed Valley, offers Mediterranean-style accommodations with free WiFi. Rooms feature work areas, flat-screen TVs, and some have stunning rainforest and river views. Located minutes from the town centre, it's close to area beaches, the rainforest, and Mount Warning. The Margaret Olley Art Centre and Gold Coast Airport are nearby, with Byron Bay a 40-minute drive away.

The room was a good size with a pleasant view and a comfortable bed, but there was no kettle.

The motel was clean, the layout worked well, and I enjoyed the swimming pool, laundry, free beverages, and shower shampoo and body wash; the location was convenient and picturesque, parking was secure, and security was adequate. However, the pool stayed closed the whole time, the TV had a double‑image glitch that improved after a while, and my reservation got mixed up so I ended up with twin queen beds instead of a single standard bed; I’ll double‑check with reception next time. The reception staff were friendly when I called to point out the mistake.

The location was great for our family reunion in nearby Murwillumbah town, the room was spacious, clean, and quiet, and had everything we needed. The only downside was the steep, sharp steps—there were few, but the rails helped a lot; luckily it wasn’t raining, otherwise they would have been slippery.
