The historic building sits on its own parkland and the on‑site restaurant is superb, offering great value even with the minimal staff. However, the hotel is pet‑friendly, and the dogs were clearly popular, which caused some noise.

The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, and the restaurant is probably the best in Jura with Michelin‑level creativity. The domaine’s beautiful forest setting lets you wander if you get bored, and the room was a decent size for a short stay, though the mattresses were uncomfortable. It’s a shame there are no activities at the spacious domaine, and the nightly rate feels a bit too high.
