The terrace at Herbstwälder was nice, but the place was filthy—animal and human hair on the sofa and carpet, other dirt everywhere, a weird, creepy, scary vibe, shabby furnishings, broken window in the single room, a non‑working exhaust, trash in the hallway, and plastic litter around.

The staff were very friendly and the cabin was well equipped with a kettle, microwave, running water, and a kettle; the cabin was also clean.

The location was lovely and among all the cabins we’ve stayed in, this was our favorite; it was very well equipped and comfortable.
