“A cosy home at the outskirts of the wilderness!”

We ate all our breakfasts and dinners at the guest house, and all were delicious! The two caretakers were very friendly and helpful, making our stay unforgettable. The place had an almost magical ambiance at the outskirts of the jungle, especially in the evenings. We also want to mention the dog Roger, who contributed to the feeling of being at home in the wilderness. All was perfect!

The staff were very kind and efficient, and the location was peaceful. The distance from the town forces guests to take taxis because walking is dangerous due to possible elephant attacks. We were not warned about this danger, and only when we were entering the risky area of passersby were they luckily stopped us. Such a danger (a farmer was attacked and died on the same day we were there) should be clearly signposted in the rooms in multiple languages, as well as on the roads, but it seems the local community tries to downplay the risk. Another problem with this property is the beds: the mattresses are the hardest I’ve ever tried in my life…

The location and food are good, but the service was poor—no water was ever given.
