The rooms were spacious and the property itself was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay, though the bathroom had a slight stale odor. A freshener would have made a big difference.

The hotel was easy to reach, located on a secure stretch of the main road and right in the city centre, and they let me check in late and check out early. The front desk staff were helpful, but most of them spoke very little English, so I had to rely on the manager to get things sorted; even then there were mix‑ups when they tried to bill me for room‑service breakfast on several days after I’d only asked for one. When the reception rang my room to confirm breakfast timing, I asked if it was included in my booking because I remembered being told it wasn’t, and they said it was, so I went along. They also rang my friend and me four times in a row to get my residential address at a moment when I couldn’t answer, which felt like spam; eventually they texted me on WhatsApp and I supplied the details. A restaurant staff member even added me on social media and messaged me, which was unprofessional; I told the manager, who apologized, said they’d spoken to the person and dismissed them. The room was comfortable but the sheets had stains, and the shower drain was clogged so water pooled and drained slowly. The function room above was noisy, with chairs and tables dragged around from 10 pm until late, supposedly for cleaning, which seemed excessive and made it hard to sleep. Despite the good value, I won’t stay here again.

The hotel sits in a great spot in the city and the food is excellent, though the rooms are clean but could use more detail.
