“We had a lovely stay, but mind your head. Would recommend.”

The quiet spot in a small harbour is very cozy and everything you need for a short stay is there. The ceiling height is about 1,90 m, so I bumped my head several times; it’s not very suitable for tall people. The bathroom stays humid even with the fans at maximum.

The fjord view is amazing, and the “primitive” rorbuer feel right with all the basics; several hikes start right outside the house, shopping is nearby, and it’s very quiet in the off‑season. The floor near the window is a bit slippery, the slanted table takes some getting used to, and the upper “bedroom” on the loft is barely usable, almost like a crawl space.

The setting and cozy cabin were lovely, but it was a shame not to be greeted and see anyone from the team, even though they were responsive via message. The location was perfect, and the cabin had a great atmosphere.

I loved the snug interior and beautiful views, and I felt really relaxed there. The surrounding walks were lovely and not too difficult for me, and the autumn colors made it complete. However, the bathroom was a bit of a challenge, with the sink and mirror right above it, making it hard to brush my teeth or wash my face without getting water all over the floor. The owner has promised to make some improvements, and the kitchen equipment was also a bit lacking.

The fisherman's cabin was stunning, set in a picturesque idyllic setting. There were plenty of walks just a few minutes from the cabin. However, the oven was really dirty.
