The hotel sits in a fairly typical residential area with an average view; the staff behaved poorly and overcharged me. I arrived in the evening during heavy rain in Ooty, and they told me not to bring wet shoes or damp items into the rooms, which felt absurd. It seemed the staff were far away, perhaps traveling hundreds of kilometers solo, and not available for emergencies. All payments had to be made via GPay. There’s no restaurant nearby and no room service. I stayed only because I had no alternatives. The bathroom and toilet were poorly maintained, and there was no lock on the room door. The only bright spot was a working water heater for baths.
