The inn had a cozy cabin feel inside the room, just a few stairs down from the parking lot and office. The coffee in the office was perfect! The location had many nearby trails, a state park, and Callaway Gardens. The bathroom was a little dingy, and there weren’t many food options nearby, but the recommendations were about 6 to 10 minutes away.

1. It was difficult to find the main check‑in because the signage on the one‑way roads was unclear. 2. Being in a lodge room miles away from the main buildings meant the “Mountain Top” view and pool I expected to enjoy were only at the “INN”; the website did not list that lodge as located at an entirely different address! 3. There was a scorpion on the bathroom floor. 4. I had to return my key to check in up the crazy road again instead of being able to leave it in the room.

The mountain view was breathtaking, making it a perfect getaway for a few days; the staff were very friendly and helpful, and we have no complaints whatsoever. The only suggestion is to make the rooms more affordable :D

The customer service was excellent, with staff who were friendly and accommodating, and the room itself was very clean and well‑maintained. However, the lack of wall insulation caused significant noise issues all night; the walls are so thin that you can hear neighbors talking at a normal volume—it literally feels as though you are sharing the exact same room. I could clearly hear guests on both sides snoring, coughing, and conversing all night long. To make matters worse, the AC unit was extremely loud and cycled on and off every 5 to 10 minutes. Management really needs to look into updating the room insulation and soundproofing. It is a lovely hotel with great service, but the lack of noise isolation makes it very difficult to get a restful night's sleep.
