The dining area and living room are beautiful, stylish yet homely. The garden view is lovely. My room had a terrace. It was quiet even though a road is nearby. The house is well and tastefully restored. I was surprised that real coffee (not instant) for breakfast cost extra. There was no kettle in the room like elsewhere, but the host was happy to give me some hot boiled water… The initial communication issue was a total problem on the booking side.

The hotel feels like it has stayed from the early 1900s. It’s a genuine time‑travel experience in the best sense of the word, including the décor, the atmosphere and the garden.

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was great and basically all the amenities were there. I would have added a TV in the second guest room.

The owner is nice, the place has some history, and the garden is beautiful. The room rate was increased by more than 30 % for breakfast, which should have been included. When we arrived we were first told no rooms were available because they had an internet problem… eventually they managed to give us a room because we were waiting outside. The environment was noisy due to traffic.
