“Overpriced for an old rundown hotel. I will NEVER stay there again.”
There wasn’t much to praise, and the front desk did nothing to improve our experience. We’ve stayed here before and paid about $300 a night for an ocean‑front room during peak season, but now they’re charging $600 a night for a room half the size of the one we had before. The room was billed as Ocean view, yet you only see the ocean if you step out and look over an old ugly building right next door. It was tiny; Motel 6 has bigger rooms! The floors were filthy and the TV offered no premium channels, so there was essentially nothing to watch. There were no dressers, just a small closet, so we had to keep our clothes in our suitcases on the floor and maneuver around them. No safe for my jewelry. The beds were too small—I'm a 5’9” woman and my feet hung over the bed. An old, loud swamp cooler in the room had to be turned off if I wanted to sleep.
