“Отдых в Унаватуне”
We stayed at Hill Cottage Ocean view from 10.02.26 to 19.02.26. We loved the location, just a 5‑minute walk to the beach. The view of the ocean was beautiful. The cottage is a bit away from the road that runs along the coast, where traffic is pretty active, which is also a plus (no cars are heard at all). At night you can hear the waves hitting the shore. In the mornings, birds and squirrels chirp. The hosts are very sweet people, always ready to help. The room isn’t large, but it has everything needed. The bed is huge! The kitchen has a fridge, gas stove, and dishes. For breakfast we were given an omelet, fruit, toast, two kinds of jam, pancakes, tea with milk, and we were not hungry. We cooked lunch and dinner ourselves. There is Wi‑Fi. The photos of the room on the site match reality. Thanks to the hosts for our successful stay! The pots and pans were new, with a non‑stick coating. I usually don’t cook in such cookware; at home I use stainless steel. Well, that’s my personal preference.
The view is amazing! Breakfast is a pleasure, and in the mornings birds sing, giving the feeling of being in the jungle. The room is clean, Wi‑Fi works well, the conditioner is powerful. There is a kitchen with good new cookware, and we cooked a couple of times. The family is very responsive and always helped. Thanks! We’ll come back.

From the window there’s a beautiful view of the sea from above. The sea is close. Breakfasts are good, they bring them straight to the room. You can eat with a wonderful view. The owner is responsive and will help with any question. The room has a kitchen and it’s clean and pleasant. The kitchen has an oven (!!!), gas stove, kettle, and plenty of dishes. You can cook. Although we didn’t cook :) We booked for 2 days, but then extended because everything was liked. Everything is good.

We stayed at this wonderful place for 9 days. It was simply a magnificent holiday. The family was very hospitable, answering any question or request and giving advice. They welcomed us like their own family. The house is very close to the ocean, on a hill. Every day there’s sport, but we liked that. The view from the balcony is something special! The ocean view is very cool. Fruit was provided every morning for breakfast. The room was also cleaned, and towels were changed. You can ask for a towel replacement any day, regardless of cleaning. We really liked this place. The room is comfortable, the kitchen has a fridge (very useful), stove, and portable oven. We heated food for lunch. The air conditioner works great, and hot water was always available. The bed is large and comfortable—we’re very excited! I recommend it 200%!

Nice apartment with a good location relative to the city and the beach, and a fantastic view from the balcony. There is a large bathroom and a bed with a good (and firm) mattress. The kitchen was also nice, but we didn’t use it much. For breakfast there was nice fruit and, in addition, eggs and bread. Some days we were lucky to get Sri Lankan breakfast. We were offered Sri Lankan curry on our last evening, and it was super tasty. The balcony is small, but fine for two people. The room has neither a table nor a chair, so you can only sit outside. Breakfast was a bit monotonous with toast bread; it would have been nice to have a little more variation with local inspiration.
