The outdoor bath on the premises was wonderful, and I appreciated the private‑use system. The attached open‑air bath in our room was plagued by insects, making it a challenge to get in.

Privacy was maintained, yet the child in the adjacent room ran around nonstop, and the resulting clatter and vibration made it noisy.

The bath in the room was infested with an extreme amount of moths, making it unusable; I couldn’t enjoy the bath I was looking forward to.

The staff were lovely and they offered a free shuttle to the station. The beds were the most comfortable we’d had in Japan, and the rooms were the biggest overall. We enjoyed having a large hot tub all to ourselves, and the bus stop was right outside. The only downside was that the water wouldn’t get hot in the taps or shower—at best it was warm to cold.

The open-air bath was a highlight for me, but I was a bit disappointed that there weren't any vegetarian meal options available.
