The hotel’s server was hacked, and I was only told about it very late; even after asking several times, I got no details on what data was stolen. The hotel management claimed the server was hacked during booking and told me to inquire there. There was pest in the bathroom, the room was noisy, staff were incompetent, and the response to the hacker attack was far from satisfactory. Data theft was communicated.

The room was small. There’s no elevator and it’s very far from the center.

The view of Vienna from the street in front of the hotel was beautiful, the area quiet and peaceful, with a playground nearby, and the gate was locked so our car was safe in the hotel’s lot; the room’s amenities matched the listing and we traveled with our dog. However, the room was booked for three people (including a 17‑year‑old child, as clearly stated), and while the double bed was large and comfortable, the pull‑out sofa was too short both lengthwise and widthwise and lacked any bedding, which was a problem for our 164 cm‑tall daughter; there was also no third set of linens. We returned from sightseeing after 22:00, but the receptionist had already left at 20:00, so there was no one to provide extra bedding. I gave my child my own sheets and ended up sleeping without any.

I spent two nights at Schani Hotel, which sits in a quiet spot near a forest trail, and the organic breakfast was excellent.
