The apartment was comfortable. It sits right in the center and close to everything. The host was friendly and could help with parking, restaurant suggestions, and more. The entry instructions were simple. Breakfast was excellent. The place was very clean and well-equipped. Everything was worth 10. When we’re back in Zadar, we’ll definitely stay here again.

“One of the best places we've stayed in Croatia!”

The Luxury Rooms at Kadena are ideally located in the heart of Old Town, surrounded by charm, restaurants, shops, and scenery. Whether you want relaxed walks, lively music, island tours, or leisurely dining and cocktails, this spot is perfect. Dino was very gracious and welcoming, offering great dining, coffee, and laundry options. The room is on the “second” floor, which feels like the third since the entrance is on the ground floor, but once we carried our bags up, moving in and out was easy. A supermarket across the walkway added convenience. The place was super clean and spacious, the bed very comfortable, and recent upgrades made it even more luxurious. No elevator, but Dino offered help if we needed it.

The city‑break location was ideal. The room was very clean and fully equipped. The owner always responded quickly. The owner takes care of everything. The breakfasts were nice and nearby. The owner has no control over the lack of a balcony and the room being above the restaurant. The room was well‑sound‑proofed, but the morning street cleaning was audible. I don’t understand why the cleaning staff, halfway through our stay, took our duvet from the bed and placed it on the lowest shelf in the wardrobe where shoes are kept—it was odd.

“Zadar. It was a lovely holiday.”

Now that you’re calling me a liar, I’ll write an even worse review. We had the place cleaned only once. The minibar was refilled only once. Our bed linen was changed only once during the week. I attached the email reply, which documents that wine was included, but you said no. Why would I waste time writing a negative review? A warning to future guests. It’s absolutely pathetic that you’re lying about it. Choose a hotel with room service instead. We liked the apartment photos but thought €1,573 for a week was a bit high. However, the amenities—such as a “free stocked minibar with coffee and tea, as well as fresh fruit”—made the price seem fairer. To be sure, I emailed their contact address asking if the minibar would be restocked, and they replied it would be refilled daily (I have documentation of this). It was only refilled once, and that was only after I wrote directly to the host. We saw no fresh fruit at all. Housekeeping only came once, even though I was promised cleaning every third day upon request. Consequently, we had to fill the lovely bathtub with wet, used towels, and the garbage just kept piling up. The host apparently didn’t care. It is frustrating to spend your vacation having to complain. Additionally, the Wi‑Fi was unstable. The breakfast venue doesn’t open until 8:00 AM, and even later on weekends.

“Great location from which to explore Zadar.”

The location is in the central part of Zadar. The room was small but very nicely renovated and furnished. Three flights of stairs lead up to the room. It is not a hotel, so there is no staff to assist—fine if you’re traveling with small/light bags.
