The large public bath was a highlight, but there were no izakayas nearby.

I’ve stayed at other Route Inn hotels before, but this one had a generous breakfast that I found tasty. It sits on National Route 7, yet it’s quiet enough to get a deep sleep. The city center is close, and there are plenty of shops toward Akita City, so I didn’t feel restricted.

Cleanliness and breakfast were tasty. Nothing in particular to note.

The place was wonderfully quiet, which I appreciated. Adjusting the shower was a hassle because I had to juggle both the hot and cold taps myself to get the right temperature.
