“einmal und nicht wieder”
Good location, M2 and M4 metro lines within walking distance, so very mobile in Milan. The mattress was comfortable, the fridge and hair dryer were present and working, fresh towels were provided daily, fresh fruit, coffee preparation options, coffee pods, milk, sugar, tea bags, cup, spoon. The air conditioning is a shared unit in the hallway; any guest can turn it up or down, and the temperature is then applied to all rooms. It runs all night and cannot be turned off in the room. The constant noise from the unit made it impossible to sleep soundly. Overall, everything was very noisy: every sound from adjacent rooms was audible, the coffee machine and water dispenser in the hallway were loud in the room. The toilet (with a grinder) was unnervingly loud, with the grinding echoing later. That noise is also heard from neighboring rooms when the toilet is used! The bidet listed in the amenities does not exist! In general, the bathroom photo does not match reality in my room; two visibly worn cup holders hang on the wall. I didn’t touch the cup because it was dirty. Two refill bottles of toiletries: one shampoo, the other a mysterious liquid with no label, Japanese on the back. The breakfast croissants were wrapped in a napkin and placed in a paper bag on the room; the next morning I had to scrape off a dried napkin and bite into a tough croissant. A plate would have been useful; I had to lay a towel under it to avoid eating from the table surface. The bedding was worn and washed, and it smelled odd. I’d have liked to open the window to ventilate, but that was barely possible because the curtains were so tightly hung that they couldn’t be pulled aside.
