We came for a wedding in Urubamba and stayed at La Rosa for 2 nights. Chris was a great host and helped us immensely with getting to and from the hotel. The breakfast he prepared was very good and we had some good conversations!

The outdoor area was really nice and peaceful. We were given different rooms from what we booked. We booked a room with one double bed and one single, but instead we were given a room with three singles. We struggled with the hot water as we mostly didn’t have it and had to shower in lukewarm water. The drain was clogged from the first day arriving there with hair that wasn’t removed from previous people. Hairs all over the floor in the room as well.

I fell in love with this peaceful retreat in Urubamba, where I could spend hours reading and taking in the stunning views of the mountains. The comfortable bed and soothing sounds of the river created the perfect ambiance, and Chris's exceptional service and delicious breakfasts were the icing on the cake. This property truly is a hidden gem in Peru.
