Lagrange Vacances Les Mazets de Gaujac is situated 100 metres from the village of Gaujac, amidst a wooded park on a hillside. The property features 40 Provencal-style holiday homes with kitchenettes, living areas, air-conditioning, TVs, and furnished terraces. Amenities include a seasonal bar and restaurant, outdoor pool, paddling pool, tennis, and table tennis. WiFi is available in the restaurant, and shops are 2.5 kilometres away in Connaux.

The pavilion was nice, but the bed was too low and uncomfortable, there was no internet, the sofa was too low, the pool wasn’t supervised and had no depth markings, the toilet overflowed and was dirty, there were no lounge chairs (the photo was misleading), no umbrella, the tennis court was unusable, the bins were too far from the apartment, the reception was too small, and the whole residence was left in a mess.

The cicadas and the pool were enjoyable even without lounge chairs, but some guests didn’t follow the rules, like leaving a dog’s poop on the car and bringing a dog without a leash.

The location was quiet and close to tourist spots, the pool was there even though it wasn’t heated, the cottages were very pleasant with no neighbors in sight, and a small forest lay behind ours – perfect for a week of regional sightseeing. The downside was that you had to keep a car on hand all the time, there was no grocery service, and there was no bread for quick fixes nearby the property; fortunately, an Intermarché was nearby and did a good job. The bedding could use replacement. It’s ideal for sightseeing only; otherwise, there’s nothing to do, especially at night. Some dog owners didn’t use the provided bags.
